True3Di Showcase at NAB 2008
April 2008 Las Vegas, Nevada

True3Di made its debut at the NAB show this year.  Thanks to an invitation extended by Eyeon Software, we were given the opportunity to showcase the hardware end of stereoscopic 3D alongside Eyeon Fusion's stereo compositing capabilities.  The response from the industry was overwhelmingly positive. On display were the Opsis 240 HD, the Opsis 190, and our Opsis 80 preview monitor.  We also quickly became very popular with our prototype 3D camera rig, giving many their first chance to see themselves in stereoscopic 3D. As the reports start coming in, you can look forward to many exciting new developments in the coming months!

BAE Systems linked to TRUE3Di
March 2008 Reston, Virginia

BAE Systems Geospatial eXploitation makes one of the top photogrammetry products called SOCET SET. We sent them a monitor for testing, to make sure there were no compatibility issues with their software. One of the first things they noticed was that the TRUE3Di monitor is a single box stereo display solution with no moving parts. Some viewing options available for this field can be complicated to set-up and keep aligned. The testing continued and it was found that the results were positive with no compatibility issues. BAE Systems decided to add our website to their links page, under the section ‘about us’. TRUE3Di would like to thank BAE for testing their software on our monitor and for adding us to their links page.

TRUE3Di makes an impact at Map India 2008
February 6 - 8 2008 New Delhi, India

For the first time, mapping companies and other users in India were given the opportunity to see the extraordinary stereo image quality from a premier LCD based TRUE3Di stereo monitor. The majority of photogrammetry users in India
are still using goggle style viewing equipment combined with old CRT monitors, with some using polarized screens with the CRTs. The positive reaction to the viewing quality and comfort of the TRUE3Di technology was evident in every face. Most comments centered on the fact that there is absolutely no flickering, with powerful bright colors and contrast (negating the need for a low light environment). With CRT monitors now almost completely phased out, a "TRUE" alternative is now available with much added benefits. Look for upcoming events to get a chance to see a TRUE3Di monitor for yourself.

Leica Geosystems gives TRUE3Di "thumbs up”
January 2008 Norcross, Georgia

TRUE3Di recently sent a demonstration monitor to Leica Geosystems headquarters based in Norcross, Georgia. Their team then put the TRUE3Di monitor through it’s paces, to determine compatibility with their photogrammetry software. The resulting tests confirmed that it performs well with LGGI stereo solutions. Getting this kind of approval means that potential customers need not worry about software compatibility when they seek to upgrade their vewing platforms. TRUE3Di would like to thank Leica Geosystems for their assistance in this testing process.
